Water fasting for weight loss day 1. Brief introduction about my water fasting journey. Find out how one that is overweight can go on a extended water fast without harm to ones health. I plan to lose over 100lbs. Will be fasting in 40 day intervals.

I am glad you mentioned that you have to work on your attitude. Improving your attitude about your body and your eating will help you to make healthier choices when you are done and maintain keeping the weight off. Water fasting is extreme and I applaud you and am expecting success for you. I am subscribing so I can watch you on your journey. Blessings Sister.
I use fasting for several reasons. I have never completed a water fast I have done a fruit fast and the lemonade and maple syrup. I have done these in order to cleanse my system and to help me adjust my eating habits to get rid of my addictions and to assist me in my normal diet of being a pescetarian. I think there is a freedom to fasting that you achieve you learn how to pray and listen and you learn how not be held to something such as food.

Oh wait, crap, is water fasting not eating or drinking anything BUT water? Sorry about my first comment, was a little confused.
That’s a really odd concept… water fasting to lose weight, when everyone says you NEED water to lose weight. But this is pretty cool… I might try it if my dieting doesn’t work out! =P
