have you tried dieting? – cutting down on what you eat?
Try walking and then build up to jogging – these don’t cost anything
hi, firstly you need to try and think why you got overweight in the first place, Sort out if you comfort eat, or eat cos you’re bored etc and try and think of a way to distract yourself. You don’t have to join a gym or spend lots of money on videos etc. the key to lose weight is to make sure you eat a healthy breakfast cos this will get your metabolism going and start you off for the day. Make sure you eat a breakfast, lunch and dinner every day and this will minimise snacking between meals. Add lots of high fibre foods such as wholemeal bread, rice, pasta etc as these fill you up longer and release energy slowly. Eat more fruit and vegetables and drink more water so you dont get dehydrated. The key to losing weight is to eat less calories and get more exercise. Walking and swimming are great exercise and dont cost the earth, unlike gym memberships. To lose a pound per week you have to reduce your weekly calorie intake by 3500 calories so you can keep an eye on what you should be eating. An average woman should eat around 1700 calories per day but if you want to lose weight then i’d stick with around 1500. Try not to let yourself get depressed. take it slowly and be realistic, the weights not going to fall off quickly. set realistic goals. a healthy weight is around 1.5 pounds per week. hope this helps
Do not despair, it does not help..

Well, first be cheerful so you’d have more energy for activities, and be more confident in yourself, so you feel that you WILL lose weight! And read the sources for more tips. Start out by planning many things to do that requires exercise like walking in a mall or play a sport with a buddy, such as riding a bicycle, playing tennis, or play tag, which can be helpful! When you are eating, in the morning, eat something healthy like yogurt or oatmeal! For lunch, eat something that is healthy and grilled, or baked, just as long as it is not fried! Oh eat more for lunch so you won’t eat much snacks and you won’t feel as hungry during dinner. Drink lots of water especially when eating so you can. be full faster, and when you’re hungry for a snack, sometimes you’re not really hungry, your body is just telling you that it needs water! But if you really are hungry for a snack, eat some fruits, stock your refrigerator full of fruits, that’s what I do! I hoped this helped!
it’s not that hard.i know it sounds hard but if you really want something you will succeed.now for the exercising,i know that it’s hard for you but you have to try.you won’t see any results if you’re just eating healthy.you can start with 10 min of exercising per day after go to 1 hour a little by little.
1 pound=3500 calories
so if you wanna lose weight you should lose for about 400 calories every day.you don’t lose calories by eating less but with exercising.so eat less calories than you burn.
Try having healthy snacks instead. So rather than eat chips, chocolate or donuts, eat a piece of fruit, some veg sticks with hummus dips or oatcakes with honey. If you are craving a sweet snack then opt for a healthy sweet snack like fruit and go for the more savory snacks like veg sticks when you feel like those. Also, you can use other distraction techniques such as going for a walk etc. You should also be able to lose around 8 pounds in 4 weeks if you follow a healthy diet and a good exercise plan.
Here are some tips to help you lose more weight:
- Eat a diet of around 1200-1500 calories daily
- Eat healthy food like fruit and veg, fresh fish, lean meat, egg whites, low fat dairy products, complex carbs, bran etc.
- Cut out junk foods, soda, processed food, take outs and don’t eat fattening snacks but opt for healthy choices instead such a oat cakes, fruit or veg sticks

- Eat small but regular meals and snacks, consuming at least 6 small meals or snacks.
- Do at least 30-40 minutes of intensive cardio per day (running, swimming, gym, sports, dancing, aerobics) You should make sure that your heart rate is at least 60-80% of its maximum to ensure that you are in the fat burning zone.
- Do strength training (push ups/crunches/squats) in order to tone and build lean muscle which will increase you basal metabolic rate
- Set target goals and record your weight loss in a journal
